Singapore: A troubling period starts, culminating in major, difficult events in 2032

When you look at Singapore's history, right from ancient times till the modern nation-state, you see how strongly it is defined by mercantilism: Uranus and Jupiter movements are extremely strongly correlated with its history, and often when Uranus is in the mercantile signs of Gemini and Virgo, strong changes occur for Singapore, both good and bad. (Uranus and these same signs also play a major role for another mercantile nation-state, the United States.) Jupiter, as you will notice below, is an extremely strong benefic for Singapore.

It has always been fascinating to me in my studies on history and deeply well it is intertwined with outer planets' movements that many lands have a certain dominant signifier, showing how their history will develop, even if in the ancient times everything may have been a trade settlement, tribal enclave or a monarchical kingdom. For example, see my post on the communist (presently/formerly) states of Cuba, Vietnam, China and Russia: it is as if the states were destined to be communist during a certain curve of their history!

Let us now look at major events of the history of Singapore, right from ancient times, and see if you, too, can detect patterns that are quite easy to spot:

1299: Presumed founding of the Kingdom of Singapura; Uranus in Libra, opposite Jupiter in Aries; Neptune also in Libra

1398: Singapura's capital sacked by Majapahit; Uranus-Saturn conjunction in Sagittarius, in opposition to Pluto-Neptune conjunction

1613: Trade settlement burnt down; Uranus in Gemini and acting as a midpoint of the Saturn-Neptune opposition

1819: Treaty of Singapore, leading to the founding of a British colonial outpost, the modern-day Singapore; Uranus-Neptune conjunction in Sagittarius in square with Saturn-Pluto conjunction

1867: Singapore comes under direct British control, becoming a Crown Colony; Uranus in Cancer trine Jupiter, and Saturn-Pluto opposition in trine/sextile

(15 February) 1915: Sepoy Mutiny; Uranus-Mars conjunction in Aquarius

(16 September) 1923: Birth of Lee Kuan Yew, who would go on to become modern Singaporean nation-state's founding father; Uranus exactly trine Jupiter

(15 February) 1942: Japanese occupation of Singapore begins with Britain's largest surrender in history; Uranus-Saturn conjunction in Taurus, Uranus on antiscion of Pluto; as Mars will first conjunct Saturn and then move on to conjunct Uranus, Sook Ching massacre takes place over several days

(12 September) 1945: return to British colonial rule; Sun squares Uranus in Gemini; Neptune-Jupiter conjunction in Libra

1965: Expulsion from Malaysia, a new nation-state is born; Uranus-Pluto conjunction in Virgo, opposite Saturn, and with Jupiter forming loose squares

And now we are in 2026, with Uranus entering Gemini just a few days back, to be there till 2033. The last time Uranus was in Gemini, Singapore was under Japanese occupation, before moving back to British colonial rule. The modern nation-state of Singapore, founded in 1965, with Uranus in Virgo, has never seen a Uranus in Gemini period: this will be its first chance. Will it be the first and only chance?

I say this, because of how the full moon chart of 23 June 2032 looks like:

Uranus-Saturn conjunction is almost EXACT, and the full moon is on the contra-antiscion of this conjunction. On top of that, Mars is conjunct the Descendant, and several malefic fixed stars are prominent in the chart. To top it all, Jupiter is retrograde, and this movement is about to take it into aversion from the Uranus-Saturn conjunction and in the sign of its fall from 26 June 2032. Thus, Jupiter looks too weak initially and then completely unable to protect from any harm: thus, and given the Uranus patterns we noted in the history above, the events that will transpire in 2032 look not only strongly destructive but also historical, that is, a new turn is likely to come in this area's history.

I anticipate very strong, destructive events around this time: this is a full moon chart, thus events may already be building up in several weeks before this date.

Given that Uranus is in Gemini now, I expect an eventful period till at least 2033 for the Singapore region, overall: but whenever configurations like the above 23 June 2032 full moon will come up, things are likely to be intense.

Next, I will endeavour to find a radix chart for Singapore, and if I am able to do so, I will start publishing predictions on Singapore once in a while. Eventful times are ahead for the area.
