General validity period: late September 2025 to late December 2025 (around 23 Sep 2025 to 21 Dec 2025)

Season of focus: Northern Hemisphere Autumn (late Sep 2025 to late Dec 2025)

PREDICTIONS

Before beginning, note my earlier predictions from this post that are still applicable: (1) "Late September 2025 or early February 2026 could bring difficult times for the country." (1) "Overall, the country is now entering a long period of several years in which the country's economy will need to be refashioned or revitalised. There may be a radical wipeout of the old."

Now for the predictions for Autumn 2025 period:

• It may be a very wet autumn. High likelihood of copious, strong precipitation or storms in the country during this period. Landslides or major earthquake are also highly likely to occur in this period. Accidents related to or involving animals may happen in the country during this period.
• After Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba’s resignation, his party, LDP, needs a new president and the country needs a new prime minister. However, I see confusion, nebulousness, deception and turbulence at the top. It may not be simple for the eventual LDP president to also become the new PM. The new leader could be a woman. Uncertainty in political affairs is at a high and may persist for at least half a year more.
• Party politics is fractious, and key legislation could be delayed or face obstructions.
• There is widespread discontent among the people, and some kind of major demonstration, protests, riots or strikes may happen.
• Some incident or anger may be directed at a workplace owned by someone from a nearby country. Alternatively, there could be spread of a disease, among humans or animals (especially cattle), which may spread through travel or contact with some nearby country.
• Trade may continue to suffer. However, there may happen the visit of an important foreign dignitary in this period. Also, an important treaty or agreement could be signed with another country during this period.
• Japanese currency may face pressure in this period. The country's finances do not bode well for the next three years, roughly speaking.
• A notable marriage, or a marriage between rich families, may occur in this period that is talked about in the media.
