Note: I have long said that I see Putin's removal from power in 2026 or 2027. Without the birth data of Putin, it is difficult to say when exactly during this period, though 2026 can be said to have a much higher likelihood than 2027. It is also advised to read the long-term predictions for the country, which can be accessed on a dedicated page for long-term predictions, here.

And now for predictions for the Spring-Summer seasons:

  • The country becomes very aggressive in wars, and a significant expenditure is made on the war apparatus. The death and hospitalisation count of soldiers is likely to be very high, and there may be strong discontent in the country's armed forces. A revolt or a coup against the ruler cannot be ruled out, and if that happens, then there is also a foreign hand behind it.
  • Incidents of deaths of other security personnel (firefighters, guards, police, etc.) also take place. Death of someone from the elite class of the country.
  • There may be discussions in the media about the ruler's health, life or longevity.
  • Major strikes or demonstrations may occur in the country. Some of them may be enabled by forces abroad or secret enemies of the country.
  • There may be a major deal made by the country regarding resources, borders or trade. Finances of the country look to be on an upswing in this period.
  • The country has now entered a more than a decade long phase during which it will undergo major changes regarding its constitution and how the state is structured. Overall, this phase of remodeling of the state in this region would last till nearly the end of this century, after which the region stabilises.
  • The country has now entered a one-and-half-decade-long period of major changes in its foreign relations. These will be felt more acutely already during Autumn 2026 and Winter 2026-27, but those seasons are out of the scope of this prediction post.
  • Some notable marriage or other public function engaging the elites takes place in the country.
  • Spring 2026: Quite wet weather in western Russia, overall. The Kazan-Yekaterinburg area especially may see very high precipitation, and one can see high precipitation all the way till around Krasnoyarsk. Irkutsk-western Siberia may be dry, though, while the Far East and the Kamchatka Peninsula may experience strong rains. Magadan area may see strong earthquake, landslide or some other weather catastrophe.

For possible critical dates specific to the country, see the Critical Dates page.

Note: Regularly updated lists of some of my successful predictions in the past can be found here. They include Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's assassination and U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran, popular unrest in Iran, Brown University and Bondi Beach mass shootings, India's trade troubles with the U.S. and worsening economy, the Twelve-Day War, the timing of India's missile strikes on Pakistan, the death of Pope Francis, Trump win, Japanese, French, Indonesian, Thai and South Korean politics in the recent past, several elections correctly called, and numerous earthquakes, accidents and other disasters (such as the UPS plane crash in Kentucky, the Switzerland, Hong Kong, Dhaka, and Ōita fires, or the Japan, Shigatse, and Kamchatka big earthquakes).
