PREDICTIONS

Note: It is advised to also read the long-term predictions for Bangladesh, which can be accessed on a dedicated page for long-term predictions, here. Predictions for India for Winter 2025-26 period can be read here and those for Pakistan here.

And now for the predictions specific to Winter 2025-26 period for Bangladesh:

  • An occasional spell of strong rains and heavy winds may occur, especially in coastal areas, but otherwise the weather is set fair, overall. It may be a somewhat cooler winter than usual.
  • Deceitful incidents will play a strong role in the country during this period, affecting in particular its rulers.
  • Death of prominent old people or state functionaries likely in this period. Some public funeral could occur. Death of prominent artists and/or of religious leaders also may happen.
  • Large-scale violence continues in the country during this period. Communal riots could take place. People are extremely excited and angry with authorities and may even seek to overthrow those in power. People are under the sway of deception or leaders who are tricking them into violence.
  • Elections are set to be held in Bangladesh during this period in February 2026, so ruler is anyway set to change, but there may be more turbulence at the top than warranted. Coup backed by armed or security forces against the ruler, either the present one or the newly elected one, could happen. One cannot even rule out a military junta kind of government to be formed in this period.
  • There are incidents in the country during this period in which several children, teens or very young people (under 20-21 years of age) die. This could especially happen during demonstrations intended to be peaceful, and ruling powers of the country could be behind the deaths.
  • The Hindu community of the country, especially those belonging to the moneyed classes, may be targeted and may suffer several fatalities. There may be the hidden backing of certain authorities behind such attacks. Things may especially be difficult in March 2026. Early January 2026 may also produce noteworthy incidents of such nature.
  • Accidents and collapses of buildings, mines, etc., continue in the country during this period.
  • The country could strike a beneficial financial agreement or trade deal with some country, probably a country in the region, during this period.

Note: Regularly updated lists of some of my successful predictions in the past can be found here. They include the Brown University and Bondi Beach mass shootings, India's trade troubles with the U.S., U.S. bombing of Iran, Israel's strike on Iran, the timing of India's missile strikes on Pakistan, the death of Pope Francis, Trump win, Japanese, French, Indonesian, Thai and South Korean politics in the recent past, several elections correctly called, and numerous earthquakes, accidents and other disasters (such as the UPS plane crash in Kentucky, the Hong Kong, Dhaka, and Ōita fires or the Japan, Shigatse, and Kamchatka big earthquakes).
