United States: Winter 2025-26

This post is regarding astrological predictions for the United States (USA) during Winter 2025-26 season (late December 2025 to late March 2026 period). General validity period: late December 2025 to late March 2026 (around 21 Dec 2025 to 20 Mar 2026)

Season of focus: Northern Hemisphere Winter (late Dec 2025 to late Mar 2026)

PREDICTIONS

Note: It is strongly recommended that you read the Year 2025-26 predictions (here) and Autumn-Winter 2025-26 predictions for the country (here) in conjunction with this post. It is also advised to read the long-term predictions for the country, which can be accessed on a dedicated page for long-term predictions, here.

And now follow predictions specific to the Winter 2025-26 period:

• Strong precipitation, with occasional flooding and storms, in the Northeast and Midwest areas, overall, during winter. Northwest may experience copious precipitation, while Southwest (California, etc.) may see warmer than usual winter and incidents of fires, overall. Southeast (Carolinas, Florida, etc.) may experience high amounts of rain. Extremely heavy thunderstorms or hurricanes likely to hit the Miami-Bahamas-Cuba area and/or the Charleston area (South Carolina coastline) during this period.
• A major incident of strong violence, shooting/firearms or fire is likely in roughly the Philadelphia-Washington DC-Pittsburgh triangular area during this period. Strong storms are also possible in this area. For more precise predictions regarding when and where an incident, quake or weather phenomenon may take place, you may subscribe to Astro Weather Watch, where predictions for quakes, accidents and other malefic occurrences are posted for every 10-day interval.
• It should be noted that in my Canada predictions for Winter 2025-26, I had said this: "There could be a strong to moderately strong earthquake, or some incident of fall of structures (landslide, building collapse, etc.), in the Great Lakes area of Canada-U.S."
• An incident is likely in which deaths of a number of travellers or students (or the young) occur in the country. Water may play a prominent role in the incident, and it could happen, in fact, due to some structure giving way to rain, storm, floodwater, etc. The incident could involve people of Dutch, Danish, Scottish, Mauritian, North African or West African origins. Many of the victims could be females or well-to-do/rich people.
• Death of a prominent rich person or banker highly likely during this period.
• I have repeatedly warned earlier that Donald Trump's second reign as the U.S. President may last approximately a year or so only. Danger to the ruler is very high in Winter 2025-26 period, though in my estimation danger to the ruler would be the highest during early Spring 2026. My detailed post about when J.D. • The country's spending may be high in this period, and quite some of it may be on wasteful projects. The country may also spend highly on military forces and equipment during this period. Movement and activities of armed forces to be high during this period.
• There is strong discontent among the people of the country during this period, and strong popular movements, protests, strikes, demonstrations, etc., may take place.
• There could be a noteworthy mining accident in the country during this period. Major transportation accident(s) also likely, leading to a strong number of injuries or casualties. Soldiers during travel or those stationed abroad could face deaths, especially as a result of fire/explosions/firearms.
