Region in focus: Türkiye (Turkey)

General validity period: late September 2025 to late December 2025 (around 22 Sep 2025 to 21 Dec 2025)

Season of focus: Northern Hemisphere Autumn (late Sep 2025 to late Dec 2025)

PREDICTIONS

Note: I recommend you to first read some medium-term and long-term predictions regarding the country in my Summer 2025 predictions post.

And now for predictions for the Autumn 2025 period:

• Strong earthquake could happen in western Turkey (or nearby region, such as Rhodes Island) during this period. The Çanakkale area looks the most vulnerable.
• Weather could be colder and stormier than usual for this season.
• There may be talk in the country about damage to crops or some kind of mine or buildings.
• Public excitement is high. The government is seen to act autocratically in this period. Those in the opposition may suffer. Some popular leader or many people from the public and from the opposition may be put in jail or seclusion by the government during this period. The government's hold could loosen or weaken somewhat towards the end of this period.
• Some member of the government could die or fall sick/injured or face controversy.
• On the foreign relations front, the country could resume dialogue on some kind of agreement or deal with a foreign country or group of countries, or be ready to sign such an agreement or deal (possibly in early December 2025 or just before that). It could instead be a deal with some domestic outfit or group, mediated or witnessed by a foreign party or parties.
