Trump assassination attempt in 3 charts

In the astrological community, quite a few have been somewhat worried about the Mars-Uranus conjunction in Taurus that perfected on July 15, 2024. I did not think it to be particularly significant for the United States, so I did not mark a date around July 15 on my Critical Dates page for the U.S., even though I have marked it for some other countries. On reflecting, maybe I should have, though in terms of immediate tangible consequence there is not much, given that Trump escaped with a grazing of his ear. However, the consequences to the upcoming Presidential election will be enormous.

I did say, after reading the U.S. charts, in my prognosis for the summer of 2024 this: "A scandal or disease could afflict someone prominent, probably someone in the ruling class or a woman." (Note that disease, if not mentioned as infectious, can also mean injury, astrologically.) Has this prediction realised now? Or is there still something important left in this summer, which would finish at the end of September 2024? I suspect things are still left to happen in the summer.

But one must always consider personal charts, too, of those who matter. I am guilty of not been looking at Trump's personal charts closely. Trump's chart tells everything quite clearly.

The above chart shows the transits of Trump overlaid on his birth chart on that fateful evening in Butler, Pennsylvania. A lot of people, including many astrologers, have focused on the Mars-Uranus conjunction right on his MC. Of course, given that a conjunction between two outer planets is right on angle makes this conjunction very important for the native in question (Trump), and given that that angle is MC itself, it would play out in the public eye. Interestingly, Mars is injecting energy here, so it proves beneficial to Trump's social status and career. The Mars-Uranus conjunction also squares Trump's Mars, which is in Trump's natal 12th house, the house of secret enemies and plots. Thus, a secret enemy or plot is activated, that too in the public eye. It is to be noted that the Mars-Uranus conjunction happens in the sign of Taurus, which governs ears.

What explains the actual shooting, though? Look at a retrograde Saturn, squaring his natal Uranus, which governs, by modern rulerships, his 6th house (the house for illnesses and injuries, among others). This, even more than than the Mars-Uranus conjunction, should be the most important thing to mark. Saturn is making this hard aspect from the 7th house. Thus, the danger is coming from Trump's (personal or business) partners, peers or supporters. Not much is known so far about the shooter's motivation, but it is known that he was registered on the Republican party's rolls as their supporter. Was Trump then being fired by someone who was or had been his supporter? Or was someone else, a partner or peer, involved somehow? Whoever it is is a secret enemy, not an open enemy, as 12th house is also involved (see previous paragraph).

Note also that transit Sun is conjunct natal Saturn. A setback which can challenge the confidence a bit.

Note that all the above makes it quite clear this was a genuine attempt on Trump's life, not something staged, as some have tried to sow such a doubt.

Now let us look at a couple of charts for the U.S.

First, the Aries ingress chart, which is valid for the U.S. through all of this year, that is March 2024 to March 2025. Let us overlay the transits on that one.

Look at that Mars-Uranus conjunction. Squaring the ingress chart's Mars as well as IC. And look how Moon in 10th is lying in a hard axis of Venus and Pluto. A popular leader (Moon) faces a radical attempt (Pluto) but is preserved (Venus).

And now look at the United States' own chart with transits on July 13 evening. (I do not use the Sibley chart, so to some astrologers the inner wheel may seem a different chart.)

The Mars-Uranus conjunction is squaring natal Moon in the 3rd house (an event where common people are involved), and natal Mercury (communication) itself is in square with transit Moon (common people) as well as transit Chiron (an outsider) and conjunct Sun. Transit Moon is on the MC, thus a populist or popular leader and/or popular issues come to the fore and are the attention of the current ruler, too.

I end this with a brief prognosis of the future, given that this shooting event has boosted Trump significantly for the Presidential poll, and it now looks near impossible to beat him in the coming Presidential elections. And yet, given Trump's charts for the ongoing year, which look bad, it looks very improbable to me that he would enjoy the 2025-2029 period as a President. Either he will not win the election somehow, or, if he wins, he may not enjoy the Presidency beyond a few months at best. Things could become clearer if Trump announces a VP running mate whose birth details are reliably known!
