The Jet Set nightclub roof collapse in Dominican Republic: the astrology

I guess several people, especially those living in the Americas, must have heard the horrific news, but for those who haven't, here's a brief description of what happened from Wikipedia:

"On 8 April 2025, the roof collapsed at the Jet Set nightclub in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, during a live music performance. The disaster killed at least 225 people and injured 255 more; more than 150 were medically evacuated. As many as 189 people were rescued from the rubble."

Quite a few famous and rich people, including some celebrities, died in the incident.

Now let us get to the astrology.

Let us start with the chart of the incident itself, which won't tell us that the incident is happening but which would indicate what happened in the incident, though in this case we know what happened:

First, look at the 8th house. It is occupied by Moon: often found in charts of tragedies, when several people die. Then, Look at that exalted, angular Sun, right opposite the Midheaven. Look also at that almost-perfect triangle formed, through a trine and a sextile, by the Sun, the Midheaven and Jupiter. A very clear indication of the famous personalities trapped in this tragedy: a Jupiter in detriment and aspecting by trines and sextiles could not help much, rather is adding to the type of people trapped in the nightclub. If it had been an exalted Jupiter and aspecting by squares (i.e., the midpoint) the other two points of the triangle, then the story would have been very different.

The chart above, however, cannot tell why this incident happened at this time. For this, we need to look at the chart in which this incident was "born": the Aries ingress chart for Dominican Republic. Here it is:

The most notable thing to note here is Uranus in the 4th house. Among other things, it denotes fall of structures, for example, the roof collapse here. This 4th house is also occupying the sign of Taurus, a sign associated with music. Its ruler, Venus, is retrograde and in the sign of its detriment. It is in the 3rd house, which a live musical performance is. In addition, an afflicted Mars occupies the 6th house, indicating, in general, sicknesses and accidents, and the peregrine ruler of the 6th (the Moon) is extremely angular, thus contributing further to the afflictedness of the 6th house in itself. (This Aries ingress chart is valid for the whole year 2025-26 for the Dominican Republic, so the country should be on alert for incidents like sicknesses, strikes, etc., in the rest of the year, almost all of which is yet remaining.)

Thus, the Aries ingress chart for the Dominican Republic indicates with quite certainty an incident of the type that happened on April 8, 2025. One must also note that in this year's Aries ingress chart for any country, not just for Dominican Republic, Pluto is at the midpoint of Sun/Moon. Hence, I anticipate a few of such big tragedies during the year 2025-26. The backdrop, thus, is not great.

Now let us overlay the event chart on the ingress chart:

Remember that Uranus in the 4th house in the Aries ingress chart, indicating, among other things, a fall of structures, right? Look where the Moon reached exactly at the time of the roof collapse. It had just, almost exactly, squared the very same Uranus, "activating" it! In addition, Mars had reached the contra-antiscion of Pluto.

Now, a few sceptics will say that on April 8, 2025, at 4:44 am UTC (12:44 am local time), Moon and Mars reached these positions for the entire world, so why the incident only in Dominican Republic, and why in this particular nightclub?

First, yes the planetary aspects would be the same for everyone, but the houses would differ: we have seen how Dominican Republic's Aries ingress chart houses indicate what happened. Other countries' ingress charts would not: for example, for many, Uranus won't be even in the 4th house. Second, we don't have all the data: the most important data here that is missing is the 1973 inauguration date and time of the nightclub, for if we had it, then we would have the nightclub chart, and we could see with more precision why things happened here and now. This would also lead to predictability, for without that, one cannot predict an incident of such kind so precisely. One can predict fall of structures and many people dying, but not the details unless one were to have more data.

Also, the chart for the Dominican Republic is missing: to create it, I would have to study some centuries' history of the country, then come up with possible chart dates and times and test it against actual events, just like I do for the 25 or so countries I cover regularly. However, time is a finite resource in some ways, and I have the impression of not having so much of it as to try to do that for every country in the world.

I hope this post helped get some answers as to how such a huge tragedy can be seen in the charts, and what charts to look into when something of the sort happens.
