The Air India Flight 171 crash: the astrological pattern found in most Boeing accidents strikes again!

On June 12, 2025, at almost 13:39 hours, Air India Flight 171, an international flight between Ahmedabad (India) and London (India) crashed around just half a minute after taking off: the crash killed 241 out of 242 on board, and killed 19 more people on the ground. The airplane being operated was a Boeing 787 Dreamliner: as it was the first ever fatal accident involving a Dreamliner, the news made waves around the world even beyond the news that such a big aviation accident would have made. Boeing share prices tanked in the immediate aftermath, and a lot of conspiracy theories floated around.

In the immediate aftermath of the incident, I had a quick look at the possible chart of the time of the takeoff, which showed a horrific time for takeoff. Someone lacking an understanding may ask that other planes are also taking off at around the same time, then why this one only? Well, to answer that, one would have to know this particular plane's "birth" chart, which we do not have. But the time was a severely malefic one, increasing the probability of such an accident. I did not have the heart to write on it more at that time, but now that some time has passed, let us see how this accident fits in so neatly with the typical astrological pattern of Boeing plane accidents.

Before that, let us look at the chart of the incident:

Chart at the time of crash

As one can see, there is extreme tension at the angles, and Moon has almost reached the IC, activating this tension. Note that Moon (everyone on board) is in detriment, the ruler of the 1st house (the plane, the journey itself) is in the 8th (death), Mercury (communication, journey) is extremely powerful but being overcome in a very tight square by the extremely malefic Saturn-Neptune conjunction, which is highly angular, on the cusp of the 7th (destination), thus indicating that the destination may not be arrived at. This Saturn-Neptune conjunction is also conjunct with fixed star Difda, signifying misfortune and self-destruction. The lord of the 10th (the plane's superior officers, that is, the pilots) is the very same Moon in detriment, thus to me the chart shows that the problem of the accident may not be in the plane itself (whose ruler, Venus, is in bad accidental dignity but excellent essential dignity) but in the pilots who were flying it. The Moon has a very good accidental dignity but very bad essential dignity: in short, the worst possible combination. Investigation results are still pending, and I don't know how honestly they would come out, but as I had said even after the accident, to me, there is no problem with the plane and the chart does not show any case of a sabotage either. The chart shows the problem to be with the pilots, who do not seem, for some reason, fit for the journey. (Note that Moon is in Capricorn, where Jupiter is in its fall, thus Moon is not very warm towards Jupiter, the signifier of the journey here, being lord of the 3rd house.)

One also notes that the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, the main afflictor in this chart, occupies the sign of Aries, thus it is the front part of the plane (the cockpit/forward fuselage area) that looks to be the most affected in the accident. The landing gear, much in news, is also in the front part of the plane. Virgo, afflicted by the South Node, indicates hull loss, which was indeed the case.

Let us look at this incident superimposed on Boeing's charts, and vice versa. The latter would be a very fascinating exercise, but let's do first the more traditional superimposition.

The above overlay is interesting for its double Pluto-Moon aspects! Transit Pluto currently is in conjunction with Boeing's "birth" chart's Moon, while at the time of the incident, transit Moon had come to the exact opposition of the Pluto on Boeing's chart. From a whole signs perspective, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction occupies the 7th house of Boeing's chart right now (and would continue to do so for more than a year, with some break in between), thus I don't foresee a pleasant time for Boeing, regardless of the orders that US President Donald Trump may be accruing for it, till at least April 2026, and even beyond till the end of 2028. We will not look at the Midheaven and Ascendant in the above overlay, as 12 noon is a hypothetical time here for Boeing.

Anyway, now let's flip the charts, something which many astrologers don't do but which can be very instructive: let us have Boeing's chart as the outer chart (the "transit" chart), while let us have the accident chart as the inner chart.

Now, given that the time of accident is not a hypothetical time, in the above overlay, we can take the angles in consideration. Did you notice the stunner that the Ascendant of the accident/takeoff chart (the accident chart is also the takeoff chart almost, given that the accident happened within around 30 seconds of takeoff), is right on the contra-antiscion of Mars of Boeing? The other angle, MC/IC, also looks very active.

Let us get back to the first overlay, reproduced here:

Note one area of Boeing's chart well, it's 9th house (10th if one were to take whole signs): here, the Pluto-Venus-Mercury conjunction in Boeing's 9th house (and 9th house signifies long journeys) is being squared by that malefic Saturn-Neptune conjunction, and Moon has just come, at the time of the takeoff/accident, to also oppose this Pluto-Venus-Mercury conjunction.

Now look at some of the previous Boeing accidents from the world.

Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 at takeoff, which would be shot down, killing all 176 occupants, in Iran

Notice the transit Jupiter-South Node conjunction in opposition to that Pluto-Venus-Mercury conjunction of Boeing.

Flash Airlines Flight 604 at takeoff, which would crash, killing all 135 on board

Notice transit Saturn in conjunction with Boeing's Pluto-Venus-Mercury conjunction.

Air Algérie Flight 6289 at takeoff, which would crash, killing 101 of 102 on board

Notice the Saturn-Pluto opposition in antiscion with Boeing's Mercury.

The above crash is from 2003, and for obvious reasons, 2002-2003 was not a happy time for Boeing flights, with several big crashes around the world. Here's one more:

Sudan Airways Flight 139 at takeoff, its crash killing 116 out of 117 on board

That Saturn is still there, and Mars-Uranus conjunction is trining as well the Pluto-Venus-Mercury conjunction of Boeing.

UTA Flight 141 at takeoff, its crash the deadliest in Benin's history so far, killing 141

Another one from 2003, with Saturn again in conjunction, and Mars squaring as well.

Here's one more with Saturn the afflictor, this time in opposition:

Lion Air Flight 610 at takeoff, which will crash in the Java Sea, killing all 189 on board

Then, there's Chiron, which I often take into account for accidents and earthquakes, which sometimes activates that Pluto-Venus-Mercury conjunction of Boeing. Like here:

China Airlines Flight 611 at takeoff, which will crash in the Taiwan Strait, killing all 225 on board

Notice how tightly Chiron opposes Boeing's Mercury, plus Mars is on antiscion of Boeing's Pluto.

Let's take another Chiron example, returning back to Ahmedabad, with which city we started this post:

Indian Airlines Flight 113 at takeoff in Mumbai, which will crash when arriving at Ahmedabad, killing 133 of 135 on board

Notice it is not only Chiron in conjunction with Boeing's Mercury, but also the malefic Neptune in opposition. On top of that, transit Saturn-Uranus conjunction is on the antiscion of Boeing's Pluto.

I have tons of such examples, as when I was studying astrology, I made a record of all accidents of Boeing and Airbus to see what patterns exist. But I won't keep giving all the examples: you get the idea, I guess! There are other patterns, too, but this one is a dominant pattern, wherein Boeing's Pluto-Venus-Mercury conjunction (especially the Mercury and Pluto) is activated.

Let us now look at the two very famous ones: one of the 9/11 flights, and the Malaysia Airlines disappearance flight:

A stationary Jupiter is in conjunction with Boeing's Mercury, and Neptune is in tight conjunction with Boeing's Pluto-Venus conjunction. So much for the very foolish notion among some astrologers that Jupiter only brings benefic events. Further proof of Jupiter acting as a malefic in mundane charts is found in 9/11 flights charts. Here's one of the flights that were hijacked:

United Airlines Flight 93 at takeoff, which will be hijacked and will crash in a field, killing all 44 on board, including 4 hijackers

Notice again Jupiter in conjunction with Boeing's Mercury, and North Node in conjunction with Boeing's Pluto.

This discussion should prove even for sceptics how the Pluto-Venus-Mercury conjunction in Boeing's "birth" chart is a very sensitive area: when it is activated (notably by Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto or Chiron), an accident-prone time is generated, and when faster planets will enable essential triggers, an accident is very likely to happen. I have several such examples. Airbus charts have their own sensitive points, and it is amazing how most big crashes follow the same few patterns time and again.

I hope that my work on disasters and earthquakes makes some people awake in the field of disaster prevention and management, those in the insurance industry and of course those directly related (plane operators, passengers, etc.). More research is needed to identify well finer triggers and not cause unnecessary panic or rumours, but at the same time once a pattern is identified, it is one's responsibility to dedicate more time and money to find the finer triggers. This should be easier now that astrologers can be paired with Machine Learning and AI professionals, which would bring finer precision.

It is time to go past the foolish, headstrong prejudice against astrology that has its roots in nothing but modern man's psyche to want to control everything. It is time, rather, to dedicate scientific efforts to understand why and how astrology works. It is time to not only make astrology great again, but also science great again: free science from the ideological constraints that modern science finds itself in, chained in political correctness and the quest of what can be said rather than the unprejudiced quest of truth.
