Note: It is strongly recommended to also read long-term predictions for the country, which can be accessed on a dedicated page for long-term predictions, here.
PREDICTIONS
- The country is highly likely to be at war or military conflict in this period. This could be with a nearby/neighbouring region or country. Martial activities hold preeminence. Note that in the past I've suggested that Spring 2026 is when China is the likeliest to make a move on Taiwan; mid- to late May looks to be the likeliest point of time, let's say somewhere around 20 May 2026. If such a move is made, then the country is likely to taste success, at least as far as the initial establishment of control is concerned. However, this move would open up the East Asian theatre for a larger war: see next point.
- The country has now entered a long period of a couple of decades and more, during which the country would be militarily assertive and be often be engaged in wars, some of which would cause significant setbacks and cause a loss in prestige. Nearby/neighbouring region(s) and country(ies) would be major adversary(ies).
- The country's armed forces, especially the Navy, to be very active. There could be fires or explosions on the country's ships (whether commercial or Navy), and/or ships could be lost.
- Hospitals and/or prisons may be busy and may also receive prominent inmates, and there may be heavy expenditure on armed forces as well as on hospitals and prisons. There could be a fraud or scandal that troubles the armed forces.
- The ruler is in strong danger of loss of power, health or life, with one major reason appearing to be health or injury. Late August 2026 or early-mid December 2026, especially around 8-10 December, are especially dangerous in this regard, or these dates/subperiods may bring strong disturbances to affairs of the people of the country. The first few days of July 2026 also look sketchy for the country, with casualties and/or notable violent events likely.
- Heated discussions are likely in the parliament (the National People's Congress).
- Transportation accidents likely, especially that of a commercial plane, chartered plane or pleasure boat/cruise ship.
- Death of some major artist or prominent model, painter or actor, or of a prominent woman figure.
- Noteworthy mine accidents and/or malefic incidents in farms could occur.
- There are likely to be strong, transformational changes in landownership regulations over the course of the next 12-14 years.
- Spring, overall, may be cooler than usual, and there may also be some strong storms.
For possible critical dates specific to the country, see the Critical Dates page.
Note: Regularly updated lists of some of my successful predictions in the past can be found here.
