Before reading, please make sure you understand the terminology used on this website. Also, read this post about understanding predictions.

A track record of some successful predictions made so far is maintained on my blog.

This post won't be edited once it's published.

Please also refer to the general Global Overview of Year 2026-27 before reading.

Region in focus: China

General validity period: late September 2026 to late December 2026 (around 23 Sep 2026 to 22 Dec 2026)

Season of focus: Northern Hemisphere Autumn (late Sep 2026 to late Dec 2026)

Date when this prediction is being published: 2 Aug 2026

PREDICTIONS

Note 1: It is strongly recommended that you read the Year 2026-27 predictions for the country, here, in conjunction with this post. It is also advised to read the long-term predictions for the country, which can be accessed on a dedicated page for long-term predictions, here.

Note 2: As I had not been able to publish Summer 2026 predictions separately, a few predictions for the remaining summer months are also published below, before proceeding with Autumn 2026 predictions.

Summer

  • Overall, a summer of storms and strong precipitation. This has already proven to be the case so far.

Date of publication (August 2) till August 23

  • Extremely heavy rains trouble some areas of Eastern China in particular. There may be notable crop losses. The danger is particularly high in, roughly, Jiangxi-Fujian area.
  • Prominent trouble relating to money matters or a financial fraud may occur.
  • Scandal or major trouble relating to a prominent female figure or a major artist, and/or a person in a high station is highly likely.

August 23 to September 23

  • Zhejiang-Fujian-Taiwan area continues to see strong stormy activity; strong landslides or earthquakes, too, could occur. Temperatures may be lower than usual in this region.

September 23 to December 22 (Autumn 2026)

  • The autumn season continues to be stormy. Major storms/cyclones and very strong winds likely in several areas of the country.
  • Military or security forces (police, firefighters, etc.) are very highly active in this period. War, warlike movement or strong rioting is highly likely: I anticipate war. Foreign relations, overall, are challenging for the country in this period.
  • Military expenditure is too high. There may also be attack on or crime at a military facility or object. A soldiers' barracks would be particularly at risk. Armed forces could suffer from an underhand conspiracy, especially from a nearby nation.
  • Death of a prominent person in the political elite class of the country. A restlessness or anxiety is seen in the country, probably having to do with the governance or ruler.
  • There is strong factional politics and powerplay within the National People's Congress, and thus overall in the Communist Party, during this period.
  • Death or major scandal affecting a person of wealth and/or high status, and/or a major artist.
  • Notable scandal or crime affecting a monastery, convent, old age home, prison, hospital or similar place of retreat is highly likely.

For possible critical dates specific to the country, see the Critical Dates page. Some critical dates I've added there now: 16-17 Sep, 22-24 Sep, 26 Nov, 13-15 Dec 2026. The period of 22 November to 22 December 2026, overall, is highly malefic for the country: refer to the dates of that period, in particular, at the Critical Dates page.

Note: Regularly updated lists of some of my successful predictions in the past can be found here. They include Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's assassination and the U.S.-Israel-Iran war's beginning and overall conduct so far; popular unrest in Iran; the UAE's troubles in real estate, economy and foreign relations; Keir Starmer's stepping down as UK Prime Minister; Brown University and Bondi Beach mass shootings; India's trade troubles with the U.S. and worsening economy; the CBSE and NEET examination scandals in India, and the subsequent strong protests against and troubles for Modi government in late July 2026; the Twelve-Day War; the timing of India's missile strikes on Pakistan; the death of Pope Francis; Trump win; several elections correctly called; and numerous earthquakes, accidents and other disasters (such as the UPS plane crash in Kentucky or the Boeing B-52 bomber crash in California; the Switzerland, Hong Kong, Dhaka, and Ōita fires; or the Sanriku, Iwate, Kumamoto, Shigatse, Kamchatka, Venezuela and Western Cuba notable earthquakes).
