Astrometeorological predictions for the period 26 Aug-3 Sep 2024:

• The western half of India could see heavy rains. Northwestern India, the bordering areas of Pakistan and parts of western India could be particularly affected. Some areas could see storms.
• Baluchistan area (Pakistan and Iran) and the region around Herat (Afghanistan) could see extremely heavy rains. Port operations in Gwadar-Chabahar area could be strongly affected. Sailors should be careful in the Sea of Oman, with Oman's capital Muscat, which is otherwise an arid region, also likely to see rains or a storm. The nearby region (e.g., UAE, Bahrain, Qatar), too, could be affected.
• Heavy rain likely in many parts of Iran. Fall of structures (earthquake, landslide or some non-natural reason) possible in or near the Chalus-Tehran-Qom-Isfahan-Shiraz strip of land or in Bahrain/Qatar.
• Weather in the Eastern Mediterranean may be windy. (This region includes lands such as Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria and Turkey.) Some kind of accident involving flying craft or some aerial attack is likely.
• There could be much heavier than usual rainfall or even a heavy storm in the Chelyabinsk-Yekaterinburg region (Russia).
• Warm weather in Japan, but which could lead to a low-pressure formation and squall. Some rains in Korea, with strong winds.
• Some possibility of an earthquake in Taiwan or eastern China, with the possibility looking the strongest in Fujian-Taiwan area.
• The eastern coast of Australia and/or Tasmania may experience strong precipitation and some storm behaviour, with the Sydney-Brisbane area showing a strong likelihood. Northern Queensland and the nearby New Guinea too may experience similar weather.
• Most parts of Brazil may experience warmer than usual weather or pleasant weather. However, the area of Brazil that lies near the Caribbean may see wet weather. This region, such as Guyana and Surinam, may see plenty of rains, high winds and maybe even a squall.
• Northeastern U.S. (the area around NYC in particular) may see strong winds.
• A warmer and drier than usual period in areas such as Michigan, Labrador, Newfoundland.
• In general, the West Coast of North America may see more than usual rains. Even California and surrounding region, which is supposed to be dry and hot during this period, may see precipitation, even a significant one. This may especially be the case near the U.S.-Mexico border. (Cities such as San Diego, Los Angeles, Tijuana and Ensenada come in this area.)
