We have entered the nuclear war age.

We have entered the nuclear war age.

I have long warned of heavy violence and destruction in April 2026 and, in general, in the Year 2026-27 (see, for example, my overview for the year published on January 4, 2026). It has been more than a year since several dates in April 2026 have been on my Critical Dates page. In my various social comments, I have also often warned about the impending 2029-2034 period as a time of a devastating Great War, though I have never written a dedicated post on it. I have warned readers and clients privately to stay away from the Middle East, if they can, and to be prepared for nuclear attacks during the Great War period as well as a split of the U.S. However, things have sped up considerably: while I have always expected that the Middle East would have dramatically changed by the end of 2027 (see predictions on the UAE and Saudi Arabia, for example), I was not anticipating things to go nuclear now itself. But, given that between April 2026 and May 2033, the world is highly likely to see nuclear attacks, and they may be more than one, I cannot rule out the possibility of a nuclear attack now, given April 2026's destructive potential.

That is to say, a nuclear attack now cannot be ruled out, especially between 10 and 22 April. However, I still lean onto the view that there may be some radiation leak incident at this time, for example, through deliberate targeting of a nuclear power plant (e.g., Bushehr plant, which could hurt southern Iran as much as the UAE, for both of which strong casualties are seen this spring), rather than a nuclear attack itself.

However, between April 2026 and May 2033, the world is highly likely to see nuclear attacks, and they may be more than one. I believe the first such instance may come in around 4 July 2026 rather than now in April 2026, but if it does happen now, around 4 July there may be a major incident relating to nuclear testing, explosion or strike. Later dates in 2026-27 are also malefic, as in general the second half of 2026-27 is much more violence-prone than the first half is, as I had noted in the year overview. The 2026-2033 period will be an extremely violent period, overall, with warfare highly devastating and leaning more and more on AI and drones; I also expect biological weapons to be used in this period.

Of course, in case Trump does go ahead with a nuclear attack now or in July, then that would bring his immediate removal from power through the 25th Amendment. The world will enter a nuclear arms race, and nuclear deterrence finished. In other words, the heavily destructive world war that I have been anticipating for the period of 2029 to 2034 could then be said to have started already on February 28, 2026.

The US has long waged wars and enabled terrorism in different corners of the world: many nations call it as the Great Satan, and given that the US-UK are at the source of every war or conflict in the world that is present today in the world, it would not be wrong at all to qualify it thus. The US remains the only country which has used ever nuclear bombs: and not only it escaped with impunity for the misdeed, it even attained its preeminence in the world because of that. Thus, the "once bitten, twice shy" principle does not apply: rather the very opposite! Today, Europe is moribund and is overrun by hypocritical values and leaders, China seems uninterested in global leadership and lacks soft power, Russia is struggling on account of an unexpectedly long war, and India's stature is diminished after its woeful leadership over the last decade. Who then will rein in the US?

Some country will have to be decisive and take a leadership role to bring the world out of this morass; countries which choose to be passive will eventually fall by the wayside. Never before has humanity faced such a potential crisis. However, 2029-2034, or maybe I should now call it the 2026-2034 period, is only the first such big crisis. After 2034, relative peace comes, but a much bigger and longer warring period awaits the world from 2068 to roughly 2097. And only then a century of peace and return to faith will follow: the horrors of rationality, which only leads men to greed and schizophrenia, will have been known very well ... till, fattened on peace, men again forget the lessons of history.

Note: Regularly updated lists of some of my successful predictions in the past can be found here. They include Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's assassination and the U.S.-Israel-Iran war, popular unrest in Iran, Brown University and Bondi Beach mass shootings, India's trade troubles with the U.S. and worsening economy, the Twelve-Day War, the timing of India's missile strikes on Pakistan, the death of Pope Francis, Trump win, Japanese, French, Indonesian, Thai and South Korean politics in the recent past, several elections correctly called, and numerous earthquakes, accidents and other disasters (such as the UPS plane crash in Kentucky, the Switzerland, Hong Kong, Dhaka, and Ōita fires, or the Japan, Shigatse, and Kamchatka big earthquakes).
