War predictions for Middle East & South Asia: 16-25 April 2026; major attack on Bandar Abbas-Qeshm area likely; Indo-Pak conflict may resume

This post is regarding the period from 16 to 25 April 2026 for areas that are likely to see strong violence and other malefic incidents in specified regions of the world. This period may see major events, hence paywall has been removed. However, for future updates and to support further research, please consider subscribing: you may do so here.

This post is published on Friday 10 April 2026, at 21:05 hours UTC, before the ceasefire talks scheduled in Pakistan for Saturday 11 April 2026. With so much optimism in the world around the tentative ceasefire, I know I will be pilloried a lot if I get it wrong, given that I am going to predict intense war, and some may already castigate me, because there are many who want to hear only sweet nothings: however, an astrologer's role is to tell what they foresee, not please people.

In my previous war predictions post, published on 2 April 2026, I had predicted that the period of 8 April to 19 April 2026 may see some lull, though around 12-13 April and around 19 April, uptick in violence is anticipated. The predicted lull has indeed come, relatively speaking, with the U.S. and Iran agreeing to a ceasefire on 8 April 2026. Now what next?

I am expecting the Iran war to intensify strongly in this period, hence I expect "very strong" incidents. I also anticipate conflicts with strong violence at the India-Pakistan and/or Pakistan-Afghanistan borders during this period. In case my anticipation about the Iran war's continuation and about South Asia turns out to be wrong, then instead of strong events of a war, one would get relatively "minor" incidents: accidents, landmines exploding, moderate to strong earthquakes, etc. (A strong earthquake isn't a minor incident and can lead to heavy casualties: I call it "minor" simply in comparison to wars, which can sow seeds of bitterness and further wars for generations to come.) However, the happening of events is near-certain near the prediction lines: the only question that remains is of their intensity. Everything operates in the context of relativity, as astrology is defined by an event's imprint on mass consciousness.

PREDICTIONS

The period of 16 to 25 April 2026 is likely to see intense violence, especially during 17-22 April period, with the dates 19, 20 and 21 April, each of them extraordinarily malefic on the charts, with few parallels in recent times.

Extremely strong violence, explosions & bombings, major accidents and notable terrorist incidents to mark this period. Heavy casualties could occur. The possibility of nuclear radiation's involvement exists to some extent, though I believe that that likelihood is much stronger in early July 2026 (see my post on humanity's entry into the nuclear war era here). There may also be significant earthquakes, fires and storms in some places in the world. Existing conflicts may get exacerbated, and new ones could begin or resume. This period may also see strong violence or strong earthquake in Pakistan or its border areas with Afghanistan or India (Gilgit-Kashmir-Punjab area): the probability of this being at the India-Pakistan border is high.

Now for the specific predictions related to parts of South Asia and West Asia:

Noteworthy malefic incidents, strong ground activity (collapse of buildings and structures, fall of objects to the ground, earthquakes, landslides, etc.) and/or notable accidents are likely near (within 250 km of the line, but mostly much, much closer) the following prediction lines. You may extrapolate all lines further at both their ends; I have looked only at the most relevant sections, but events can occur on extrapolated sections of the lines, too.

South Asia

  • Line between 34°12′N, 75°26′E (southeast of Sonamarg, Kashmir) and 30°48′N, 75°10′E (near Moga, Punjab, India). This is a strongly malefic line: casualties and strong violence could occur near this line. Near some parts of this line, there may also be strong precipitation.

To the north of the area shown here is the Kashgar-Badakhshan area, and an M6.0+ earthquake could occur in that section of the line (not shown here).

  • Line between 34°36′N, 73°32′E (south of Kaghan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan) and 31°00′N, 73°19′E (southeast of Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan). This is a highly malefic line: heavy violence, aggression, incidents of fires/explosions and notable accidents could occur near this line.

West Asia

  • Line between 33°00′N, 59°26′E (northeast of Birjand, South Khorasan, Iran) and 26°36′N, 59°47′E (east of Fanuj, Sistan and Baluchestan, Iran). This is a highly malefic line: heavy airstrikes, fires and violence likely near this line.
  • Line between 29°36′N, 57°46′E (west of Rayen, Kerman, Iran) and 21°11′N, 58°19′E (north of Saraima, Ash Sharqiyah North Governorate, Oman). This is an extremely malefic line: heavy airstrikes and violence and heavy casualties likely near this line. Near some parts of this line, there may also be strong precipitation or stormy activity. Several areas of the UAE, such as Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al-Khaimah and Fujairah lie well within the prediction range of the line, as does the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas and the island of Qeshm off it.
  • Line between 30°36′N, 49°32′E (west of Bandar-e Mahshahr, Khuzestan, Iran) and 25°11′N, 50°14′E (east-southeast of Al Hofuf, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia). Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant area, already hit multiple times by U.S.-Israeli strikes, lies within the prediction range of this line.

When extended north, the line will pass through the Kermahshah-Khorramabad area of Iran (not shown).

  • Line between 36°23′N, 45°40′E (northeast of Nestan, West Azerbaijan, Iran) and 29°53′N, 46°46′E (southwest of Ar Rumaylah, Basra, Iraq). Major airstrikes likely near this line. The entirety of Kuwait, key Iraqi areas such as Baghdad and Erbil, and northwestern Iran (the Tabriz area) lie all within the prediction range of this line.

When extended south to 23°23′N, 47°44′E, the line passes by Saudi capital Riyadh, but the more malefic portion of the line appears to be the Iraqi-Kuwaiti portion and areas of Iran near it.

  • Line between 34°23′N, 36°27′E (east of Hermel, Baalbek-Hermel Governorate, Lebanon) and 32°00′N, 37°02′E (southwest of Safawi, Mafraq Governorate, Jordan). Strong violence and incidents of fires likely near this line. All of Lebanon and West Bank as well as much of Israel and well within the prediction range of this line.

When extended south, the same line can be described thus: between 25°00′N, 38°36′E (south of Umm al Batsa', Al Madinah Province, Saudi Arabia) and 16°00′N, 40°22′E (a point near the Dahlak Archipelago in the Red Sea).

  • Line between 33°30′N, 33°51′E (west off Lebanon) and 30°18′N, 34°40′E (northwest of Shitim, South District, Israel). This is a highly malefic section, with very strong violence likely. Troubles to ruling authorities, network outages (power, water, gas, telecom, etc.) and strong fires/explosions and airstrikes likely near this line. All of Israel and Palestine as well as south Lebanon are well within the prediction range of this line.

Note: Regularly updated lists of some of my successful predictions in the past can be found here. They include Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's assassination and the U.S.-Israel-Iran war's beginning and conduct so far, popular unrest in Iran, Brown University and Bondi Beach mass shootings, India's trade troubles with the U.S. and worsening economy, the Twelve-Day War, the timing of India's missile strikes on Pakistan, the death of Pope Francis, Trump win, Japanese, French, Indonesian, Thai and South Korean politics in the recent past, several elections correctly called, and numerous earthquakes, accidents and other disasters (such as the UPS plane crash in Kentucky, the Switzerland, Hong Kong, Dhaka, and Ōita fires, or the Japan, Shigatse, and Kamchatka big earthquakes).
