United Arab Emirates (UAE): Summer 2026
Most of my predictions for the UAE for Spring 2026 were accurate: the country suffered almost throughout this period from several strikes, engagement in war (albeit not made public, contrary to my anticipation), troubles for the country's stocks, high expenditure, migration and religious questions at the forefront (with the country's targeting of Shia Muslims), and very high rainfall (including a record-breaking deluge at the end of March 2026). It is back in March 2025 that I had predicted a strong slump in the real estate sector of the country for a long time ahead, and that continued to be true as well.
