The astrology of the Risbergska school shooting in Sweden

Every three months, I publish predictions for more than 25 countries in the world in advance of a time period. Once published, these posts are not edited, so whatever I have said remains as is. For many countries, my predictions are highly to extremely accurate. I have to also admit that for some countries, though, for whom I have been unable to devise still a very good national chart, they are less to much less accurate. This is on a consistent basis: if I have a good chart for a country that "works," predictions will mostly be very accurate. And if I have not yet devised a good chart, predictions for that particular country will mostly be not so accurate. Much of my time goes in researching these charts. Mundane astrology, that is, the predictions for different regions and countries of the world, involves quite a lot of study of the history of those regions and the world, even up to ancient times sometimes, in order to determine and test correct charts (there can be more than one) of a country. Unless I have the national chart(s) of a country, I cannot predict several events, though even from the mundane chart, as I would show you below, one can get a good idea of the flavour of the time ahead.

Sweden is a country for which I have never attempted to create a national chart and then test it against past events. Hence, I do not publish, for now, any predictions on Sweden. But one can always cast the mundane chart of any location for any time, given access to a good ephemeris, so let me do that for Sweden. My objective is to show here how, even with a very simple application of astrology and some common sense, much can be achieved. My aim here is that readers themselves become more learned about good methods of astrology and start applying them: a better astrologically aware public, without falling into sensation-mongering and fearmongering, is a good thing to have, I believe.

On February 4, 2025, a school shooting occurred at Campus Risbergska, an adult education centre in Örebro, Sweden. First reports indicate that around 10 people, including the shooter, are killed, and many injured. Let us look at the mundane chart of Sweden. I haven't created and tested the national chart of Sweden, which would be very instructive here, but let's see what the mundane chart gives us:

The above is a mundane chart, cast for the moment when the Sun entered the sign of Capricorn (as per tropical astrology). It is cast for the location of Stockholm, the (administrative and legislative) capital of Sweden. We are using Capricorn ingress chart, as the the event has happened in the (Northern Hemisphere) winter season, whose events will be defined by Capricorn ingress.

You will see Mars in the 8th house, and the 3rd-9th axis of education afflicted by a Saturn-Moon opposition. Mars in 8th is often a quite unfortunate symptom of things like murders, stabbings and shootings. This one is a retrograde Mars, flaunting itself in Leo, gaining further power by that loose opposition with Pluto (with the retrograde making the opposition tighter). As I said, the axis of education is afflicted very strongly, and in fact, when you also look at the Mercury-Jupiter opposition, both in a mutual reception being placed in their signs of detriment, across the MC-IC axis, there is this four-cornered square being formed between Mercury, Saturn, Jupiter (which, by the way, is here the ruler of the 3rd house) and Moon, and with MC involved, this is very prominent. This Jupiter-Mercury axis is also happening across the 6th-12th axis: 6th house indicates the police or army being involved, while 12th house indicates foreign or conspiratorial elements behind the scenes. (I have no idea about the motive or identity of the shooter or victims, but it would surprise me if nothing foreign or conspiratorial is involved.) Both Saturn and Jupiter, here, are acting as malefics, heavily affecting Mercury (the signifier of education) and Moon (the signifier of common people). The ruler of the Ascendant, too, is in the 3rd house, thus the nation is busy with something to do with education.

It is thus quite apparent from the chart that some kind of incident is written onto it whereby children or adults in an educational setting or role are getting injured or killed in some kind of a violent setting.

But when is this incident likely to happen? It actually would not be too difficult to find out from the above chart itself. As I showed in a previous post about the Potomac River mid-air collision, it is often the faster-moving planets that can indicate to us the incident's time of happening. Moon, in particular, can be an excellent indicator.

Let us overlay the planetary positions at the time of the incident on the Capricorn ingress mundane chart:

As you can see, Moon has exactly squared that 8th house Mars, the signifier here of shootings and stabbings, at the time of the incident! Note also the background: how Jupiter is about to turn direct, being stationary at the IC at the time of the shooting.

It did not require a lot of work to see when an incident like this could have happened, right? If you were to cast ingress charts and follow triggers of faster-moving planets at important points of those ingress charts, you would yourself become a quite good astrologer. The key is to not go trigger-happy (pun intended) with every planet or point. To those readers who have the time and inclination to do so, I exhort them, do so: it would be richly rewarding and lead you to learn good astrology!
