The 2025 Potomac River mid-air collision incident: How to read its date in the charts

Back on March 14, 2024, I had warned about a major transportation accident, most probably an aviation incident, to happen during the ongoing astrological year (late March 2024 to late March 2025) in the U.S. or Canada.

On January 29, 2025, American Eagle Flight 5342, operated by PSA Airlines, collided mid-air with a U.S. Army Sikorsky VH-60M Black Hawk, presumably killing all 67 people onboard both aircraft. Flight 5342, operated by a Bombardier CRJ701ER, was a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita (Kansas) to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport near Washington, DC.

First, a few things about my analysis that went wrong.

As the Sun was involved in my analysis, I had thought that the accident may happen during daytime, and as crossing the water was indicated, I had thought it may be a flight to a foreign destination. But the Sun can mean several things. I had not thought it would mean the capital city itself: the accident happened near the U.S. capital, Washington, DC, itself. Crossing the water can happen without oceans in between: in this instance, the accident happened on the Potomac River, and the aircraft parts, I have been told, are being found under the water. Astrologers, in a bid to be more precise about their predictions, can make such mistakes of interpretations. They see what is happening, but sometimes they don't know exactly how what is happening is happening.

I had given a couple of dates as possible dates for the incident, but these dates were not January 29, 2025. The reason for that is my shortage of time. As I will show you below, to estimate January 29, 2025, as a possible date of the accident should have been a straightforward task. But given that I have to balance my mundane astrological work with more mundane tasks (pun intended) to put bread on the table for my family, I do not have enough time to run a chart through different transits to discover these sensitive times. That is why, if you've noticed, there is always a standard appeal for donation under each one of my posts, so that I can dedicate more time for more precise mundane astrological work (which, frankly speaking, is quite a lost art).

Now let us see, once I had the prediction about a major transportation (aviation) accident for the U.S. or Canada, how straightforward it would have been for me (or for any other astrologer on the right track) to predict the date.

Let us overlay the incident date on the 2024 Aries ingress chart of the United States:

Inner wheel: 2024 Aries ingress chart for U.S.; outer wheel: incident

Note that in the above chart I have not taken the exact location of the aircraft crash, rather taken the nearby city of Washington, DC, as changing the location won't change any of the planetary positions in the chart.

If you are an astrologer, you probably have seen the obvious. Mercury, the planet that signifies transportation, is in quite strong essential dignity and is opposing the ingress chart's Moon, ruler of the 9th house (the house ruling air travel) in the ingress chart. This is all happening at a time when a retrograde Mars, in its fall, is occupying the 9th house of the ingress chart. Note in passing also that the same Mars is the ruler of the 6th house in the ingress chart, the house occupying army affairs and movements.

I will not say more, as this much brevity is enough to come to a conclusion. There are many astrologers who spin long yarns with both their clients and in their analyses and saying everything except predicting anything concrete: I believe in concise, to-the-point observations and predictions. Long-winded yarns do not help the science and art of astrology.

Note, also in passing, that in my recent predictions for the ongoing Winter 2024-25 period for the U.S., I had predicted that "[t]here may be a major incident involving sudden death of the young." I have heard that a number of young skaters were on the aircraft, which makes the accident an even more painful one to imagine.

Note: For those who may be unaware of it, regularly updated lists of some of my successful predictions in the past can be found here. They include South Korea martial law events, Trump win, several earthquakes and other natural disasters, Israel's recent successes in military affairs and the fall of several leaders. And I predict weather and earthquakes here.
