General global overview of year 2024-25

General validity period: roughly 19 March 2024 to 22 March 2025

Predictions:

• Overall a challenging year, especially the spring and summer period (end of March to end of September), for commercial aviation and the two major plane makers, Boeing and Airbus. Also a difficult and/or busy year, in general, for both commercial shipping and many countries' naval forces.
• A challenging couple of years begin for many incumbent rulers, especially for those who are monarchs (even if benign) or dictators or who have authoritarian tendencies. Populist or highly popular leaders are also in the crosshairs. Many of these may either lose power or fall sick or even die.
• Terrorism and mass tragedies may punctuate the year in different places. Mass movements and strikes may also occur at a greater intensity.
• In general, this would be a year where people's consciousness is re-energised, people in many countries are given a new direction. This, as one would expect, comes about sometimes through tragedies on a big scale or afflictions to the leaders they adore.
• It would be an eventful year, not simply because one is anyway expecting it to be, given that so many major countries in the world go to elections in this year, but much more eventful.
• A hot spring (and hot summer, too, in some places) could lead to significantly damaging wildfires in several regions of the Northern Hemisphere. At the same time, some regions to be extremely stormy and wet and see severe, unseasonal flooding events. A heavy monsoon may follow in many parts of South and Southeast Asia.
• Very important breakthroughs in the field of electronics, communication and AI to happen this year. These would have a significant impact on the future human lifestyle.
• Important discoveries could also be made this year in the world of natural sciences.
• It may not be a good year for cryptocurrencies. Many stock prices or anything of the speculative nature. too, may face downward pressure.
